ConServe Supports Those in the Toughest Battle of Their Lives

Jeans For Charity Recipients Focus on Improving the Lives of People Affected by Cancer

Rochester, N.Y. – The October Jeans For Charity program recipients of Continental Service Group, Inc., dba ConServe, share a common thread:  They all strive to support, empower and educate those battling cancer, either directly or through its impact on their lives. The organizations that benefited from the month's charity donations are the Pluta Cancer Center Foundation, Gilda's Club of Rochester and the American Cancer Society. These groups are united in their efforts to save lives, assist patients, create comforting care environments and celebrate life as they join forces to create a world without cancer.

ConServe's Jeans For Charity program provides its employees with the option of participating in monthly charitable donations in exchange for wearing jeans to work.  In this way, employees are provided with the opportunity to "give back" to their local communities by donating to a diverse group of organizations throughout the year. Even more generosity is shared through the organization's "Matching Gift Program" whereupon corporate funds match all employee donations.  This ongoing initiative symbolizes ConServe's commitment to its corporate mission of helping to improve the human condition.

"Fundraisers like ConServe's Jeans For Charity ensure no one faces breast cancer alone. The money raised helps the American Cancer Society fund innovative breast cancer research, promote education and risk reduction, and provide comprehensive patient support to those who need it most." said Michael Crisona, Executive Director for the American Cancer Society's Upstate NY area.

According to ConServe's Public Relations Director, Stacy Bartl, "as an official American Cancer Society Regional Partner in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in our areas, ConServe is a loyal community partner that embraces and upholds its commitment to help improve the human condition."
