ConServe's Employees Brighten the Holiday for Local Children

Supporting the Marine Corps and Their Annual Toys for Tots Campaign

Rochester, N.Y. – The employees of Continental Service Group, Inc., d.b.a. ConServe, are proud to have recently partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys For Tots Foundation in the month of November to make the holidays a little brighter for the less fortunate children in their local communities. By embracing this holiday tradition: "bringing the joy of Christmas to America's needy children", ConServe employees have the opportunity to "give back" to their local communities in an especially meaningful way at this time of the year. Embodying ConServe's commitment to its corporate mission of improving the human condition, the Rochester, N.Y-based organization and its employees strived to make the holiday season a bit more cheerful for their community neighbors.

Jason Tiefel of the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of New York states "Toys For Tots is greatly appreciative to all three of ConServe's office locations, Fairport, Henrietta and Cheektowaga, for their amazing donations to this year's Toys For Tots campaign. These donations will go a long way in ensuring that every child has a smile on their face come Christmas morning. Thank you again for your continued support."

"ConServe is a longtime supporter of the Marine Corps Toys For Tots campaign and is proud to do the right thing, at the right time, the right way in conveying a message of hope and inspiration to the youngest members of our local communities" adds Stacy Bartl, Public Relations and Communications Manager at ConServe.  "Our team of generous employees are committed to giving back to their local communities and they wholeheartedly embrace the mission of this wonderfully rewarding annual gift drive and reinforce the heartwarming efforts of the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of New York so that every child can experience the magic of the season."

About Greater Rochester Toys For Tots

The Greater Rochester Toys For Tots project grew out of a pilot program in1947 that was so successful the Marine Corps adopted Toys for Tots in 1948 and expanded it into a nationwide campaign. That year, Marine Corps Reserve units across the nation conducted Toys for Tots campaigns in each community in which a Marine Reserve Center was located. Marines have conducted successful nationwide campaigns at Christmas each year since 1948. The initial objective that remains the hallmark of the program today is to "bring the joy of Christmas to America's needy children."
